Elizabeth Ericksen, MAMFT, MSONLINE Therapy only/$200 sessionElizabeth is a Marriage and Family Therapist (MAMFT), who has a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science from Concordia University, Nebraska. Elizabeth is dedicated to making the therapy room a safe and comfortable space for clients. She believes that her clients are the experts of their life, therefore she helps to guide them in identifying strengths to use as tools in making change to reach their therapeutic goals. Elizabeth works with couples and individuals using a compassionate, non-judgmental, and reflective approach, emphasizing the importance of understanding their emotions. Elizabeth slows down the process by helping clients reflect and understand their experiences. She works with couples addressing issues including conflict resolution, communication challenges, betrayal, and intimacy issues. She also works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, and self-esteem.
Elizabeth uses a transgenerational approach with clients to better understand their patterns of behavior and change within the relationship and family system(s). Additionally, she assists couples to stay connected throughout their relationships with the use of understanding their strengths and building open and honest communication. She also assists individuals and couples in overcoming challenges with confidence. Elizabeth has many years of experience working with individuals of all ages and families in crisis and understands the importance of being able to share their story and to be heard. She holds her clients accountable, while also being warm and non-judgmental in order to maintain an empowering experience for clients. |

To schedule your initial apt, simply call 716-870-5176 for either of our two Buffalo area offices or 585-505-3110 for our Rochester office. (Note: a "non-refundable" session fee prepayment with a credit card in your name is due, when scheduling your initial apt.). Rates:Our therapists' session rates range from $200/session to $400/session and are based on the level of experience, areas of specialties, degrees, and certifications of our therapists. You can call your insurance company and ask them, if you have any "out-of-network" insurance benefits for “Couples/Family” therapy (CPT code 90847), and/or “Individual" therapy (CPT code 90837). If so, we can provide a NYS billing receipt, which will contain the normally required Diagnosis and CPT code(s). This is again for "out-of-network" reimbursement. Please know that our Practice does NOT interact with the insurance companies at any level. You must still pay our Practice up-front and out-of-pocket and submit your NYS billing receipt to your insurance company, separately at your choosing.
